June 7: Senshu 2016 Debriefing

Senshu 2016 is almost over.  I am sure everyone's suitcase is stuffed with all the crazy souvenirs and precious memories from Japan.  Things that you saw, did, learned, and ate...and people you met....the time you spent here this spring will never come back, and that is why you need to embrace every moment you spend and every person you meet.

I was very glad to be here with our 20.  We had such a good team and  it was a very special experience for me, too.  

No one got too sick or made troubles.  Everyone was happy and busy, and fully (I mean, sometimes too fully!) enjoyed their stay!  Played a lot and learned a lot!! Sleep.....probably not at all! (haha!)

I am sure that it was a super special and almost life-changing experience for everyone.  Don't forget this time!  Treasure the time we spent together here!

Safe trip, guys! 

Make sure that your family knows where you are if you are still traveling in Japan.

I am looking forward to seeing you in the class again and see your progress in Japanese!!

A big "THANK YOU" to students, teachers and staff at Senshu University.  The reason why our students had super-special and unforgettable time here was all because of your hospitality.

June 7: Farewell Party

The last speech!  Everyone's Japanese has gotten very fluent and everyone looked much more confident!










Video show made everyone cry...... oh no....laugh laugh laugh!


So sad to leave....

June 7: Tea Party with Itasaka-sensei's class

Our students met with Itasaka sensei's students this morning.  They enjoyed their meeting and delicious cakes and drinks.  Thank you very much for the wonderful opportunity and yummy cakes, Itasaka-sensei!

June 7: Closing Ceremony

Finally the last day of the program.  Everyone is so tired but still going!  No one wants to go home.
At the closing Ceremony we already saw some tears here and there....
